Notes on the Making of the Characteristic Curve of An SSHG Plate

In this paper,a method is briefly introduced for making the characteristic curve of an SSHG plate by using a computer.As an example,the characteristic curve of the spectral plate of the spotless flare of 1991 April 12 is made successfully,and an empirical formula is given for describing the characteristic curve of an SSHG plat.Some physical problems on the characteristic curve easy to be misunderstood are also discussed.
