Development of a Sky Brightness Photometer and the Preliminary Observation Results

    Abstract
  • For the needs of the observation and research of the solar corona a method is introduced for measuring the sky brightness near the sun by means of a mask from outside of a tube and with a small hole to decrease the sunlight for calibration. The preliminary observation results obtained at some selected sites in Yunnan and Xinjiang are given in this paper.
