Abstract
Some statistical analyses about the characteristics such as sunspot ares, type, magnetic structure and penumbre fibre of 97 proton active regions during the period of 1976 to 1992 of the 21st and 22nd solar cycles, are given in this paper. It is found that(1) about 75 percent of proton flares produce in sunspot groups with the area of 500 ≤Sp ≤3000 unit;(2) when a flare erupts, the area of the corresponding active region obviously decreases a day before its eruption and after;(3) 70 percent of the 97 proton active regions have the complicated delta magnetic structure;(4) in the proton active regions with the sunspot penumbre fibre rotated, about 77 percent of flares occur after the appearances of the spiral sunspots.
