Abstract
The infrared emission behavior of H Ⅱ region-molecular cloud complex S141 is examined through the IRAS Sky Survey Atlases. The IRAF and Skyview are used to analyze and thus the contours of the infrared intensity, color temperature and optical depth of S141 are presented. The results show that the total infrared luminosity within the~15pc region is 1.71×103L⊙. The mean dust temperature is 178.5K for the hot small grains and 26.8K for the colder larger grains. There are three major infrared emission areas presented in the molecular complex, another weaker one locates at the nouth-east of the molecular cloud. It is found that the possible exciting star of S141 may be the optical counterpart of the infrared point source 22268+6122, and the lower mass star formation may be taking place in S141.
