Theoretical Analyses of Errors from LLMC+CCD

  • The theory on errors from the telescope of LLMC+CCD is extensively discussed in this dissertation. The errors to be mentioned are from both inside and outside the telescope itself. The characteristics of CCD system and its applications in astronomy is largely introduced in the first chapter. The observational principles of the LLMC+CCD are chiefly given in the second chapter, in which the observational principles and frames of LLMC are also presented. In chapter three, The author discusses 17 different kinds of errors, presenting the corresponding methods of determination and elimination. In chapter four, the formulae for various kinds of curvature correction are derived. Finally small angle astrometric technology and large angle astrometric technology are reviewed in chapter five.
