  • The important results of the application of fractal and chaos theory in solar physics are given in this paper. The main contents are: the revealing of the chaotic solar activitys the solar non-linear dynamo theory; the fractal description of the solar magnetic field and the research of the self-organized criticality of the energe releasing manner in solar flare. Finally, the forecasting of such application in the future is also given.
