The Influence of GPS Data Processing Strategy on the Accuracy of Results and Reliability Analysis

  • In the high-precision GPS data processing, the precision of resolution is often restricted by the data processing strategies such as the the ocean tide models, the constraint mode settings of satellite orbital, and types of precise ephemeris products. In this paper, relevant experiments are carried out considering the above influencing factors, a method to increase number of baseline solution and combination adjustment is proposed to improve the accuracy of baseline solution based on the error theory. The experimental results indicate that the accuracy of the results of the ocean tide model inserted in the data processing is better than not using the model; the FES2004 model has the best internal and external coincidence accuracy; the NAO99b external coincidence accuracy is much better in the offshore area, and the effect of other tide models is basically the same level on the accuracy of the results; the inner coincidence precision of relaxed orbit method is better than that of fixed orbit method, but the outer coincidence precision is lower. Different precision orbital products have slight difference on the final solution. The method proposed in this paper has significant effect on improving the precision of the GNSS data processing, and it also has rapid convergence rate with different precise ephemeris.
