The Statistical Correlation of the Planetary Magnetic Field with the Satellite Gravitation and Their Relative Motion

  • Sicnce some celestial bodies have been known to possess magnetic fields, a lot of explanations for their origin have been proposed, such as the battery theory, the rotator theory, the fo ssil theory and the dynamo theory. How ever those theo rieshave not been acknow ledged owing to their conflict with some observation facts so that the subject of the magnetic field origin of celestial bodies has notyet been solved. Mr. Yu Xian he suggested that the magnetial field origin of a celestial body may be related to the gravitation effect, and the plenetary mag netic field is directly prportional to their satellite gravitation and the angula rvelocity of the gravitinal line between the planet and the satellite. The statistical analysis for those view points is presented in this paper. It is found that the suggestion has a statistical basis
