Transfer and Development of the PGPLOT

The PGPLOT graphical package has still been an excellent and wide used softw are in the world. Moreover this package has been knowing well by researchers in our observa tory, since it has been used about teny ears and developed to Free-PLOT graphical software by author. Considering the VAX 8350 computer will be replaced by adva nced microcom puter, SUN workstation and its network, the author has transfered the PGPLO TV 5.0.2 graphical package to the microcom puter with the MS-DOS system. Also, a new version of Free-PLOT has been developed at SUN workstation under the environment of SUNV IEW so ftware et al. Free-PLOT expands functio ns of PGPLOT, provides a COMM AND mode"imm ediately ca rryout". In addition, it can fetch data directly from a IRAF image tary file.
