Abstract

The preliminary analysis of Hαprofile for SN1996w is presented in this paper. It is shown that SN 1996w may be formed by a B9 super giant expoloded. It has a shell with the mass of 0.0031 M⊙ and the radial ex panding velocity of about 11760km/s.
