Design and Test of an IBOB based Wideband Digital Spectrometer System for a Radio Telescope

  • In this paper we describe the design and application of an IBOB based Wideband Digital Spectrometer System.The spectrometer system is basically of dual-pole, 400MHz working frequencies, 2K channels, and 16IP output. The specifications of the spectrometer are analyzed and its performance has been tested. We also verify the feasibility of the system design, and discuss the impact of the filter on all back-end systems.
