Design and Fabrication of a Temperature-Monitoring System of a Dewar in a Cryogenically Cooled Receiver

  • A temperature monitoring system of a dewar in a cryogenically cooled receiver is described in this paper, including the design, the fabrication, and the test of the system.The paper mainly discusses the requirements of the temperature monitoring system for the dewar, which involve the choices of components and the PCB layout.The system needs to be reasonably designed according to the requirements.The discussion provides a theoretical basis for hardware designs of the temperature monitoring system with high precision.The designs adopt multi-channel analog input i.e.that with a centralized collection.The system is divided into different modules to fit the demands of the circuit design.The system has been calibrated and tested in laboratory and in the 18cm dual polarization cryogenically cooled receiver on a 25m radio telescope located at the Urumqi Observatory.It can work stably and function as designed.
