Detection of Faint Objects in Multiple-star Systems with High-resolution Image Reconstruction Techniques

  • High-resolution Image Reconstruction Techniques are increasingly becoming practical observational methods. With the setting up of the 2.4-meter telescope in Li-Jiang GMG, the detection of faint objects in multiple-star systems with the High-resolution Image Reconstruction Techniques becomes realistic. The aim of this paper is to show the feasibility of such detection on the 2.4-meter telescope, within certain range of object luminosity. This is based both on experiments and theoretical calculation.
