The Design of the Cube Corner Retro-Reflector Array on Chang E Lunar Exploration Satellite

The need and the feasibility of the Laser Ranging using the lunar exploration satellite, and the design proposal of the mounted cube corner retro-reflector array are presented in this paper. The effective reflection area, beam divergence, distribution design, mounting and the circumstance adaptability of the cube corner retro-reflector are also introduced.
