The Materials of the Reflecting Mirror

According to the mirror manufactured in practical terms, the developing process, properties and fabrication process of the optical materials used to make reflecting mirror are introduced. From various views, like developments at present and problems existed in the material this paper shows the way to advance in the future. Finally, the material capabilities in common use are summarized, especially for material SiC.
