Effect of Temperature and Other Factors on Performance of CCD Data Acquisition Circuit

  • The CCD camera has been widely used in astronomy with high performances.In order to improve the performance of CCD data acquisition,we made an experiment on CCD data acquisition circuit in the lab with BIRAC CCD controller system in the National Astronomical Observatory and studied the influence of temperature,error of ADC and reference voltage on CCD data acquisition circuit.Based on experiment data,the degree of influence caused by those factors and some optimization methods are proposed.Finally the advantage of a method to processing data measured in reducing CCD readout noise is also introduced.
