Analysis for "A Crow on the Sun"

  • It can be proved from some observational data that "a crow on the Sun" in some historical material recorded by the ancients is not myth, but the huge sunspot that looks like a bird by naked eye without any instruments. In addition, there is the record as "a crow carries the Sun on the back" which means at the total solar eclipse during the minimum solar activity the corona looks like a bird.Because those two phenomena are very rare,in consequence,no ideal explanation could be found for a long time.
