  • The quasioptical system of the dual channel receiver is designed and developed for the simultaneous observation with two bands. The frequency independent matching of Gaussian beam is applied to design the quasioptical system with two focusing elements for each band, respectively. The emphasis is on the design to be satisfied with two bands simultaneously. The beam measurement system is also developed to measure the quasioptical system and their components as well as to align the quasioptical elements. We have measured the intensity dist ributions of the Gaussian beam in the transverse plane and the variations of the beam widths along the propagation axis near the Cassegrain focus. The measured results are also compared the theory.
