The Application Method of Web.py in Developing MUSER Software System

  • The hardware construction of Mingantu Ultrawide SpEctral Radioheliograph (MUSER) has been completed, and data processing system for the MUSER project has also been completed. In order to improve its user operation availability, simplify its operation difficulty, MUSER data processing system provides both the traditional command-line interface and the WEB interface for the users. This paper introduced a framework named web.py and discussed how to apply the framework to quickly develop a WEB interface for MUSER. Overall, for astronomy software written in Python, web.py is a proper choice in developing its WEB interface.
