Integration and Sharing of Chinese Traditional Star Resources with WWT

  • In the era of big data, the propagation path of Chinese traditional culture has changed. That how to effectively use information technologies to protect and disseminate traditional star culture of China, is a new challenge for astronomers and educational scientists. The paper, using data fusion capacity of World Wide Telescope and its advanced data visualization technology to integrate and share the data resources of China traditional stars, shows a wonderful starry sky in China. And it's mission continues to be further integration of digital education resource that available for self-directed learning users, realization of deep combination of science, technology, culture and art and promotion of dual-wheel driving of science and education, which is an important pathway and developmental direction of modern culture spread and popular science education.
