FAST Engineering Comprehensive Test Microwave Darkroom Design and Implementation

  • Through the selection and optimization design of the wedge absorbing material, the FAST engineering comprehensive test microwave darkroom is completed. It meets the requirements of (GJB151B) and civil standard electromagnetic compatibility test, and meets the requirements of the antenna test environment in the frequency band above 500MHz. The electromagnetic environment and test conditions are provided for the electromagnetic compatibility and antenna performance test of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST). Through effective elimination of external electromagnetic wave and various internal reflection interference, to reliable and standardized test data is obtained. The comprehensive test microwave darkroom can meet the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility test and antenna testing of national standard and relevant international standards, and can realize the three meter method and the antenna performance test environment protection.
