Design and Realization of Remote Observatory Power Integrated Control and Monitoring Module

  • With the rapid development of time domain astronomy, remote observatory has been an important tool for time domain research in virtue of its advantages. However, there is not yet a stable and independent system for the construction of public observatory. For solving this problem, China-VO proposed and designed an embedded hardware-based integration system so as to facilitate the integration control and extension. Power module is the basis of this system and plays an important role in promoting system stability. This paper designs a closed-loop power integrated control module and realizes the power integrated control of observatory equipment, the switching control of the roof and the monitoring of equipment, and provides multi control modes. We carried out 24 hours continuous test to this module using random network commands, and tested short message control mode under network interruption. It shows that this module has good stability through the comparison between the commands sent from client and the monitored data.
