The Flares of Spotless Regions

In the present article the 20 flares of sunspotless regions observed at Yunnan Observatory during the SMY in Cycle 21 are analysed, and the general features of the flares of spotless regions are pointed out. The activation process of the quiet filament before the eruptions of the flares of spotless regions is analysed. The background conditions of the eruptions of the flares of spotless regions are also discussed.
