A Preliminary RePort on The Trial Observation of The No.l CCD System at Yunnan Observatory

The paper gives the preliminary results obtained during the trial run of the No.l CCD system on the 1 meter telescope at Yunnan Observatory in the past one year.The programs bavirg been tested include direct imaging position determination,tracing observation and diffuse object observation as well.Since it was for the first time that a CCD system was used for astronomical purpose in China,some fundamental problems concerned are also briefly described.
