The Determination of Electrical Properties for the 10-Meter Antenna

This article presents a brief, description about the basic principle and practice of determining antenna efficiency η , antenna noise temperature Tφ and the level of first side lobe of 10-meter radio telescope in Yunnan Observatory by the use of radio-astronomical method. And the results show that these three parameters all exceed the designed specification.On the basis of. last year's measurements, remeasurements were carried out this year, and the results are in good agreement with that of last year.
