The Qrigin of Solar Wind, ESP, SEP And Solar

  • By considering the proton flux in the solar wind as the very low-energy cosmic rays the integrated flux-kinetic energy curves for protons with 0.3-4 kev are obtained from the solar wind data1 provided by satellites in 1963-978, and the energy spectra of low-energy cosmic rays have been extended by about 3 orders of magnitude towards the end of low energy. The energy spectra of the very low-energy cosmic rays obtained are presented by power lows with 2-indices, i.e. J(>E)=AsE-Y, and the turning point occurs at about 1 kev, which is very similar to that of the low-energy solar cosmic rays. The proton peak intensity in the energy range of 35-56 kev for 46 interplanetary shock-associated ESP events2 observed on ISEE-3 Recently is just plotted in the connective dashed line. In this way, the energy spectra of the solar wind, ESP events, solar eneregtic particles (SEP) and low energy cosmic rays can be connected, and can also be explained well.
