Characteristics of the Spectra of the Flare and Its Ejection of 1989 May 8

The characteristics of the spectra of an SN flare, and its ejection which occurred on 1989 May 8 are briefly introduced in this paper. They are described as follows.(a) The radiative intensity of the flare kernel is successively weakened in the three spectral lines of H_α, H_β and H_γ.(h) When the flare reaches its maximum, the matter ejecting towards the exterior of the solar disk ascends helically just like a fried dough twist.(c) The average ascensional ejection velocity is about 120km/s,the average desccnsional velocity is about 12km/s and the maximum projected height of the ejection is 22000km
