Hα Observations of the Loop Prominence Systems of An M4 Flare in AR5744

Two active prominences with different shapes produced near the small sum-pot region on 13 October 1989 are analysed in this paper. The results show.(1) The needle-like cylinder and the foot points of the loop prominence system are out of touch with the group of small sunspots in the neighbourhood of them.(2) The loop prominence group are composed of several loop systems and the matter in each of the systems distributes unevenly.(3) The loop feet of the loop prominence group distribute asymmetrically, with those on one side being clorely packed and those on the other side relaxed.(4) The loop prominence group gradually disappears from the relaxed side to the closely packed side.(5) The top part of the group is brighter than the other parts.
