MICROWAVE OBSERVATION HIGHLIGHTS OF AR5629

Active Region 5629 was extraordinary for both its flare production rate in asunsport region with moderate area and for the largest X-ray flare,ever observed by theGOES spacecraft,an estimated X20 at 0118UT on 16 August.Also,It was an importantregion for east hemisphere of the Earth,four out of five larger flares occurred in about 0000-0400UT on 14-17 August²(see Fig.l-5).
