The Analysis of the Pointing and Tracking Accuracies of the 10m Radio Telescope
The factors contributing to the pointing and tracking accuracies of the 10 meters radio telescope at Yunnan Observatory are analyzed and dicussed in detail. Some method of improving the pointing and tracking accuracies of the antenna system is given. The possibility of the pointing accuracy of 33 arc seconds at the 1.3 centimeter is expounded and proved.
