Development of A Reflection Dish Antenna of the Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic

An antenna of the glass fiber reinforced plastic is introduced in this paper and the application of the technology of the glass fiber reinforced plastic to the manufacture of the reflection dish antenna is also proposed. After repeated experiments, the technology for the production of a paraboloid antenna with a diameter of 3m by means of the glass fiber reinforced plastic is found and the antenna is successfully produced. The tested results show that the antenna meets the requirements of the design and utilization, and its performance is good.
