Planning of Data Processing System for Astronomical Satellite

  • The data obtained from astronomical satellite is telemetered to ground and converted into high products by the data processing system. The products as well as these analytic software will be opened to the public. Meanwhile, the data processing system monitors status of payloads and quality of data, gives a quicking look to the data. Thus, planning of data processing system will be helpful for improving the scientific output, particularly in detecting new astronomical sources. This work introduces the system from the definition of data products at the different stages of processing, conceptual view of this system, design of its subsystems and flow of data, and illustrates some details of processing. It can help to establish a method for software development to reduce the cost of human resources and boost scientific output.
